Moxibustion

Moxibustion is a form of heat therapy in which dried plant materials called "moxa" are burned on or very near the surface of the skin. The intention is to warm and invigorate the flow of Qi in the body and dispel certain pathogenic influences.

Cupping

The cupping technique involves using suction with glass cups over certain areas of the body. It has many purposes such as decreasing pain, inflammation, and act as a type of deep-tissue massage.The suction and negative pressure provided by cupping can loosen muscles, encourage blood flow, and sedate the nervous system. Cupping is used to relieve back and neck pains, stiff muscles, anxiety, fatigue, migraines, rheumatism, and even cellulite.

Acupuncture

Acupuncture is a form of treatment that involves inserting very thin needles through a person's skin at specific points on the body. It is used to regulate and restore the balance of the body, to assist and accelerate the healing process.

Herbal medicine

Herbalism works by re-establishing the natural balance and harmony within the body. An herbal prescription will include several herbs working together in combination to treat the person as the whole. Herbal medicine is especially effective in the areas of infertility, menstrual irregularities, skin conditions and acute illness such as colds and flu. Herbal medicine can be consumed as tablets, capsules, powders, teas, extracts, and fresh or dried plants.
